Three other individuals I spoke with at the store faced similar wait times on their vehicles. I was warned by a work colleague prior to getting tires that they had a similar problem a month ago at this location. Clearly, there is a systemic issue with scheduling and completing work.
The place was very full, meaning; food to clothing. Yes, other things a person needs. They let you buy by bulk, as my daughter was doing. She has a lovely family young family., where I cherish the time. But will let others know if your looking at your budget, item, quality,...... this place is not bad.
The traditional Costco experience is available in the normal store area. Great staff, good setup. However, I had one of the more dispiriting experiences of my retail life with Costo Tire Center at this location. After making a 2:30 PM appointment on a Wednesday afternoon, I arrive 20 minutes early and turn in keys. I am told my service will take an hour. I time my grocery shopping to be done at 3:30 PM. No phone call comes so I patiently wait. 4:30PM rolls around and I am starting to worry about my cold/frozen items. Inquire and am told that my car is in service. Fortunately, I was able to ask the front crew to put my cart in the cooler. They were very nice about it. I don't get my car until 5:30 PM. Three hours is an unacceptable amount of time to wait for an appointment to install tires. Seriously disappointed and do not plan to use Costco Tire again.
Costco is a favorite of mine. They are a very ethical company, which is hard to find in retail these days. While you have to pay a yearly membership fee to shop at Costco, they sell a number of items that will pay for you membership with a single purchase. Some of these items are their bulk steak, bulk fryer oil, car tires and over the counter allergy medicine among others. Very competitive prices on printing photos as well. I've gotten my holiday cards printed here a number of years.
Love, love Kirkland brand products! We use the paper towels, toilet paper and unscented laundry detergent. Great quality and price. I do wish Costco offered smaller carts/ baskets. Not all of us buy in bulk each visit. Was there today and with added holiday traffic, it was challenging navigating through the store. An older woman ran into the lady in front of her while in line and said the cart was so big she couldn't see how close she was. She also said, wish they had smaller carts. Anyhoo.... Happy Holidays! Costco is a great place to go. You can get anything you need at a reasonable price. The customer service is the best. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
