Such an interesting idea to have a museum deticated a condiment! They literally have musterd from all around the world! Such a nice place. You are able to even taste and buy mustard! For me, it is a must to place to go if going through Wisconsin!
If you are in the area, this is an incredible place to stop by. I am not sure there is anything like it anywhere in the world. You can try lots of different kinds of mustards from sweet to very spicy. In the basement is a museum that has many different types of mustard from all over the United States and the world. The people that work here are very friendly and helpful. You can request to try almost any mustard. They also have tasty soft pretzels for sale. Great for dipping in your mustard. They have nice variety packs for gifts.
It was a very nice and inviting place. Practically all of the mustard that they have upstairs you can sample. Down in the basement is where they have the museum. They have games for children and adults. As well as having mustard from all over the world. If I'm ever in the Madison area again I would definitely stop by.
We haven't been at the Mustard Museum since they moved to Middleton. They really upgraded. The store is great and the basement has a huge collection of mustards. The staff is super friendly and offer samples of any mustard you want to try.
The mustard museum is a must see. They have so much more to offer than one would think. I am not a huge fan of mustard and found this place to be great. You get to sample just about any mustard on the first floor before you by it. They have games in the lower level to make it fun for the kids and a small little video about mustard.
